Glacier meltwater. The opaqueness comes from silt formed by glacial erosion of bedrock.

For our stay in Denali, we selected Denali Perch Resort, about 13 miles south of the park entrance, on the Carlo Creek. We preferred to dine at the nearby McKinley Creek Cafe.
